OYC Website Menu Explanations
To familiarize yourself with our new site, here is an explanation of each menu item on the top of each page.
>>Home - This is the page that appears first when you browse to www.oycia.org. We will keep this page brief as we want the club to get used to the menu system at the top. Check it often for weekly tips and links to other great sailing information.
>>About OYC - We wanted a place where we could tell newcomers about what a great organization OYC is. You will also find information about the history of OYC and maybe some old tales and memories.
>>News/Regatta Info - Announcements of upcoming events as well as information about how OYC sailors do at regattas.
>>Membership Directory - You won't see this unless you are logged in to www.oycia.org as a member. This is how you can look up the phone number or email of another member. This is ONLY shown to members who are logged in to the website.
>>Fleet Pages - Each sailing fleet has the ability to maintain their own web page for class postings.
>>Race Results - Weekly race results for each class will be posted here.
>>Event Calendar - This is our club calendar. It includes both sailing and social events. The events listed will have a link to specific information about the event as well as the ability to sign-up and pay on-line.
>>Committees - Our Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Social Committees, Fleet Captains, Race Committee and Sailing School Board Members will be found on this page.
>>Documents - Sailing Instructions, NOR, Board Meeting minutes, Commodore's letter and Scuttlebutt can be found here and downloaded for you to view.
>>Photo Gallery - This is the spot where pictures taken can be viewed. Each member can even post their own photos to their own gallery!
>>Sailing School - This will provide a link to the OYC Sailing School. They have their own website.
>>Directions - How do you get to OYC? Here is how.
>>Contact Us - If you have a question, member or non-member, here is how you can get in touch with someone.
>>Links - We have a great list of sailing related links for you to browse to. Check it out!
